Uso de billeteras electrónicas e inclusión financiera digital en pequeños comerciantes de la provincia de Rioja, Perú

Resumen

La presente investigación analiza la relación entre el uso de billeteras electrónicas y la inclusión financiera digital en pequeños comerciantes. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar la relación entre el uso de billeteras electrónicas y la inclusión financiera digital. La metodología adoptó un enfoque cuantitativo, con diseño explicativo, no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 450 pequeños comerciantes de la provincia de Rioja, Perú, seleccionándose mediante un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. La técnica empleada fue la encuesta, utilizando un cuestionario estructurado con escala Likert, cuyos coeficientes de confiabilidad fueron de 0.919 y 0.946, según el Alfa de Cronbach. Los resultados evidenciaron que el uso de las billeteras electrónicas se relaciona de manera positiva, significativa y fuerte con la inclusión financiera digital (ρ = 0.702; p < 0.001) presentando además un elevado poder explicativo (R² = 0.679). Se concluye que las billeteras electrónicas constituyen un mecanismo relevante para promover la inclusión financiera digital, sin embargo, su adopción aún depende de factores como la facilidad de uso, la utilidad percibida, el costo financiero percibido y la intención de uso.
